Carewest Sarcee Hospice

The Sarcee Hospice is a residential unit dedicated to providing 24-hour care in a homelike setting for the last days to months of a person's life who can no longer manage at home but do not require the resources of acute care. The Sarcee Hospice is operated by an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals and volunteers who provide care for residents in 15 private rooms. Carewest is committed to providing individualized, family-centred care in a way that celebrates life and the dignity of death, where the goals are focused on managing symptoms to maintain the resident's comfort. Our nurse and physician consultants work with the resident and entire care team to help ease the pain and uncomfortable symptoms associated with illnesses and physical disabilities.
